knitting woes

I have spent the last few days knitting the Jen's Poncho from Sally Melville's book, The Knit Stitch. My knitting is getting pretty good; I have 43 rows of 48 stitches completed. As I was proudly showing my hard work to my mother, she pointed out that you can see a color difference which mean the skeins that I've been using are from different dye lots. How I didn't notice this is beyond me. Now I have to figure out what to do. Do I try to make it look like a pattern or do I just say, to heck with it? ARGH!

Do you have trouble making decisions?
Hmmm, well, I would have to say, yes and no.

What I should do:
1. Clean room
2. Catch up on my email correspondence
3. Clean bathroom

What I most likely will do instead:
1. Knit
2. Watch TV
3. Eat cookies
4. Walk aimlessly
5. Drink beer

Re: the likely actions-

Since efficiency is always desirable, perhaps you should make a conscious effort to multi-task. For example, no.s 3,4, and 5 on your list could easily be performed simultaneously. Bet you would get some interesting reactions from the neighbors if nothing else.

Hmm. I would add "eat chocolate" to that likely list too. That's what I'd rather do than to clean the house (but I'm going to anyway.) Good luck with the knitting and find a good movie to watch on TV.
