thanksgiving

After dinner this evening, my mother and I planned the Thanksgiving Day feast.

Fried Turkey
Cornbread, Apple and Sausage Stuffing
Gravy
Cranberry Chutney
Broccoli with Cheddar Cheese
Candied Yams

Dessert: Pumpkin pie

I thought deep fried turkey originated with Cajuns. Anyway, they *are* just wonderful. The Thanksgiving menu looks great. Never had apple and sausage stuffing but it sure sounds good (couldn't get the link to work). Just looked up the recipe for cranberry chutney and that also sounds wonderful. But its a little low on the sheer volume scale-you people on a diet or something? You're supposed to eat till you can't move!:-)

I thought fried turkey was a regional (Ozarks) delicacy. Enjoy!

Just don't fry the turkey like this guy.
