The Vandals did a song about Small Wonder… High-larious!

Ooh, Grey Gardens! I’ve been quoting it ever since.

That’s it! I think I’m going to bring that CD for my commute today… The whole album is a riot

I’ve heard that The Last Station is a good flick.

Weather conditions in Dallas, Texas: 4 inches of snow have
fallen since midnight, and more is on the way. I can’t remember when snow fell here for at least 12 hours straight. Dallas also had the first White Christmas since 1924. Darn that global warming! Hurry, politicians in Washington, D.C…
figure something out!

About 8 inches of snow now on the ground in north Texas…probably the heaviest one-day total in over 30 years. I’m looking out my back window…trees laden with snow…looks like Colorado…beautiful. And since this is Texas, the snow will be gone in a couple of days
:)

BDavis– we got avalanched here in Philly. And my power went out– from 4pm until noon the next day! It’s been crazy! CRAZY!

Some areas of Dallas had power outages today. At my house the lights flickered this evening but didn’t go out.
The snow accumulation is now the heaviest since 1978
and the precipitation has been falling for at least 18 straight hours….an incredibly long time. But My God it’s beautiful to look at, but it will be gone in a couple of days. I spent the winters of 2007, 2008, and 2009 in North Dakota and I know what blizzards and intense cold are all about, but this is surprising weather for Texas.
