It can't be scaled down to a smaller (non-3D) screen. It's still worth seeing. I've never seen anything quite like it. You just have to ignore the silly politics of the movie. I didn't like Ewoks vs Stormtroopers, or "Gungans" vs "Battle Droids", so I likewise reasoned that Avatar would not be my cup-o-tea. I think Avatar is the Phantom Menace of this decade. In a year or so, when it appears on FX or TNT, the true believers will watch it again and think "what the hell were we thinking?" Heh, spot on.
