If you haven't seen the movie The Diving Bell and The Butterfly, I highly recommend it. The story is about a stroke victim who experiences a rare condition known as Locked In Syndrome in which he can only communicate by blinking his eyes. Certainly one of the finest foreign movies I've ever seen, overflowing with pathos (you are the EXPERT on cinema, especially of the non-American variety, so your opinion is most welcome.

Be thankful for what you have. All of my grandparents have passed away. I've lost my mom, her sister, and a cousin during the past 6 years, so appreciate your loved ones while you still have them.
