Do you remember that old commercial about being able to hear a pin drop through the phone? What happened to that? At one time it was important to have a good clear signal. Nowadays it’s the number of minutes you can talk, number of people in calling circles, lack of dropped calls, rollover minutes, etc.. And the one thing I have noticed is the sound quality is just getting worse and worse. So many people call me and I can barely hear what they are saying. Their voices are distorted or there’s static-y background noise, echoes, breathing sounds, pops and whirrs, etc… I miss the day when you could talk on the phone and enjoy the conversation. I find I spend most of the time saying, “What? Can you repeat that? Maybe try putting your mouth closer to the receiver. Are you there? Can you hear me? How about I call you back, it’s clearly a bad connection, connection, connection…” Do you hear me Sprint? AT&T? Verizon? Can we try to make the sound quality good again?

I’m having the same issues…in Texas! A government conspiracy I say.
I live in Texas, too, but it’s not a conspiracy. Just bad customer service.
