See! Now aren’t you glad there are people out there voting Democrat?

Donna December 10, 2008 at 11:09 am

No, not really.

The difference between a Republican drawing unemployment and a Democrat drawing unemployment is this:

Republicans don’t want to be
on unemployment, and Republicans want to get off
unemployment as quickly as
possible.

Democrats? Imagine the opposite scenario.

Any questions, Adrienne?

I don’t care what you are democrat or republican….unemployment sucks but it may keep you from living in a cardboard box. It’s not enough to live on, but hopefully it will help your money last a little longer until you find another job. You have the right idea on working for yourself, sure you work long hours, but it’s all yours and you don’t have to listen to idiot bosses! Good luck!

Gee Donna, sorry to hear about your job. Boy, haven’t I been through that before. I have my fingers crossed but you never know. You’re obviously intelligent and talented. My experience has been I end up with something better than what I had before. Best of luck. Definitely stay positive

Question:

What kind of low-down, good-for-nothing company lays off people three weeks before Christmas?

That company deserves a mountain of coal in their
Christmas stockings. You
should feel lucky you don’t work for those scumbags anymore.

Michael December 10, 2008 at 7:00 pm

I know three people from two different companies (one was my last company) that were laid off this past Monday.

The reason companies let employees go before Christmas is so they can start the new year with clean books…

B. Davis:

Question: why do republicans always assume the worst about democrats? Where the hell did that little factoid of yours come from anyway.

I could just as easily make blanket statements about republicans hating the environment, women, minorities, poor people, etc. etc.

NO ONE wants to be on unemployment…lucky for you republicans it’s there when you need it, thanks to people who care…like democrats.

B. Davis December 11, 2008 at 8:55 am

Clean books and dirty hands.

B. Davis December 11, 2008 at 12:33 pm

I don’t assume anything about
Democrats. I have decades
of observation and work experience to draw on.
The Democrats in my extended family are the least educated
and most easily manipulated by politicians.
I read a newspaper every day,and have for the past 30 years.
I know which demographic groups vote Democrat, and I know which ones tend to stay on welfare the longest.
Oh, and having a masters degree in government comes in handy, too.
